Default Astellas Pharmaceutical Plant Hwy. 9

Does anyone know whats going on at the Astellas plant? I drove by today and a large portion of the building is either being demolished or has collapsed.

I saw that as well. I figure they're expanding the place.

Funny how it sits there off hwy 9, but you really don't notice it unless you look past the trees.

Just what I heard, but I was told by an employee that the corporation wasn't using a large portion of the building and to save paying property taxes on the unused office space, they opted to demolish the unused building and save on the taxes. Sounds hokey to me, but that's just what I was told.
