Isn't the shopping center on the other side not quite full yet?

And what the heck else can they squeeze in? That's a LOT of new retail!

Not that I'm complaining. More options are always good.

Oversized river? Do they mean the canal they are passing off as a river? Calling it an oversized river is like calling McDonald's gourmet food.

Just read the brochure. This makes it sound like the "river" may get some upgrading.

"Riverwalk Plaza also features four restaurant pads overlooking the city’s newly constructed “river”, which will be fed by the center’s central fountains and cascading waterfalls and heavy landscape.

More landscaping around there would greatly improve the look of the riverwalk area. Right now it is as bland as you can get."

I can't figure out why they have the "canal" anyway. The way the whole thing is laid out, it's about the furthest from any foot traffic as possible. What's the point? If you have a couple of restaurants overlooking it, they're also going to be looking at the back sides of all the other places.

yeah, the OKC and San Antonio Riverwalks are nice because all the stores face each other across the water. Our riverwalk was laid out like someone through pieces up in the air over a map and where they landed is where they built them. They will also need to clean up the water some if they have restaurants nearby, it doesn't always smell that nice.
