Thread: Housing bargains

    Default Housing bargains

Where are good bargains on nice sized homes with some property? Blanchard? Anyone have any thoughts? With no kids at home, the school district is not an issue. What are houses running for south and southwest of the city?

We have a couple of different discussions on this topic.. maybe search Relocating? Housing? Schools...

Here are some sites to look at homes:

Houses in Tuttle and Blanchard seemed to be pretty reasonable. I've been kind of looking down there myself.

I live south of 240 on Sooner road right now, and there's some pretty nice houses in my neighborhood for decent prices up for sale right now as well.

We bought a new home in Pucell a couple of years ago and it was a nice sized house with a nice garage for a LOT less than something comparable 15 miles north.

Blanchard isn't a bad little town either.

Just North of Edmond. In between Waterloo and Guthrie there are some new developments with excellent prices! Plus, it's just beautiful up there. The reason it's cheap is because the schools are Guthrie vs. Edmond. Just on the other side of Waterloo you get Edmond schools, but you can count on prices to be extremeley inflated in comparison.

Our brand new, 2400 sf house on 1 acre lot was just $169,000 (last year)
