• KMG building renovated and occupied by SandRidge
• At least one major employer to absorb most of vacant Class A space in the CBD; more office construction announced; downtown workers almost double
• FNC totally renovated and filled with smaller tenants
• Several thousand new residential units in the downtown area with an equal amount under construction
• Sonics make OKC permanent home – new arena planned
• General Core-to-Shore plan adopted; Crosstown Expressway nearing completion
• Major convention hotel announced
• Bricktown Village project brings major retail to city core
• Chesapeake starts major overhaul of NH Plaza to rival Utica Square
• Increased air traffic results in new east concourse at WRWA
• Light rail plan adopted
• Health Science Center adds several large buildings and thousands more employees
• Saint Anthony continues its renovation and expansion
• Much of Banta’s work is completed in Midtown and the area continues to draw new construction and renovations
• Automobile Alley has several restaurants, retailers, art galleries and lofts
• Water taxis in full operation on Oklahoma River
• Two new boathouses added to ‘boathouse’ row
• Native American Cultural Center opens
• Major mixed-used developments announced along OK River
• Bike paths significantly expanded
• Lincoln north of capitol in full comeback

That would be excellent if just half of those came to be Malibu...Good amount of exciting projects planned, rumored or started

But looking at what we have been going through so far this year

I'm picturing an Okie version of Venice just with a lot more mosquito's in a few more years

But looking at what we have been going through so far this year

I'm picturing an Okie version of Venice just with a lot more mosquito's in a few more years

I believe Easy180 is referring to the continual torrential rain recently. If it doesn't stop soon, the possibility of slowed construction could be a concern.

Let's hope we dry out soon and these plans can come to fruition.
