Thread: Evening Trolley from Downtown to Campus Corner?

Default Evening Trolley from Downtown to Campus Corner?

I've been thinking(always dangerous for me, I know) that maybe a trolley that ran from campus corner to downtown would be a nice idea on weekends and evenings. Those two places have a lot of evening traffic, with the bars and restaurants and all. Allowing people to flow between the two without having to drive might provide a boost to both. Since they're not that far away from each other, it wouldn't have to be a terribly complicated or expensive proposition. I have no idea how such a thing would be implemented, but I'm curious as to what others think of the idea.

I absolutely love that idea! It's something that should definitely be forwarded on to Metro Transit. I am curious how much traffic it would receive. Maybe only having it run Thursdays through Saturdays would be more feasable. Good idea nonetheless.
