Markkk could not have a civil discussion with anybody without calling names or wanting to shoot the opposition. He was a man of HATE! and will be known as an asshole for ages to come. Let's see who is worse someone who attacks a dead man from a keyboard and screen name. or the dead man who made the point while he was alive to speak his mind regardless of what people thought of him.

I really hate how the world has become these days. Opinions carry more weight then facts. People think that everybody has to see the world in the same way they do. The worst part of it all, people think everybody has to like them and treat them like royalty.

Opinions are just opinions... you can argue them or you can ignore them. Just because somebody say something you don't agree it does not mean they need to be silenced or re-educated.

Everyday I walk this earth I am further convinced that the mature adult is an endanger species that will soon be extinct. Mature adults do not get caught up in opinions. They stand up, pull their weight, fight their own battles and support their neighbors in times of crisis. They don't waste time on calling people out over their opinions. Especially after their six feet under and can no longer fight back.

Markkk was probably a klansman, He certainly had ties with the Oath Keepers and John Birch, and tried to be a leader of the teabaggers, until his ego almost broke them apart. No hate, just facts. That was my point several pages back. The thread announced his death and posters left condolences to the family, etc. As soon as it turned into something else, it should have been closed. I love OKCTalk, Pete's carrying a big load financially for the board and it's appreciated, but the lack of moderation is becoming almost intolerable at times. The free-for-all makes me take it less seriously.

I never listened to Mark (maybe years ago but I don't remember - like over ten years ago?). I have never praised McVeigh, so "you" are the people is misguided. I never said what he did was rational. I don't know anyone who did. Honestly, this is must so much hysteria and half truths and quarter truths. If words mean as much as you seem to believe (and I believe that, too), then isn't it just as important that you not exaggerate, attribute attitudes to people you don't know, assume (in words that express opinions as facts) that you know what "you" people want or will do?
