SUPER nice owners. I stopped in for to-go food one day midafternoon and we got to visiting - they seem to be really great people - I love the menu lineup and my order was GREAT!

You made me hungry for their food again so I called in a takeout order for our supper. When I picked it up, I told the owner about your post and steered him to this thread, so he may be chiming in pretty soon.

He recognizes me each time I'm there and always makes time to chat a bit; very nice people!!!

Why does it seem on every thread it deteriorates to urban superiority over dumb suburbanites?

If ALL that mattered was traffic count, places all over downtown would never locate there. While this location suffers from sub-optimum visibility it can still succeed with good food and good value. I agree with Steve...let's hope a good new concept works in OKC so it will add more locations....even in the core. This isn't a NW suburban issue, or a downtown issue, nor a capital Hill issue, it is a Oklahoma City issue. We want good concepts to succeed here and better food to dominate over bad food. Good value over bad. This seems to help do that.

I ate there for lunch today. I had the grilled pork, brown rice, and fresh fruit. For the price, it is very good. The owner came over to ask if we had any questions about the menu. While he was talking to us about the menu he said that all of their food is made fresh and without preservatives. I enjoy hearing that about the food I am eating, plus I enjoy supporting local places. The only thing that disappointed me about the place was the amount of lighting - it was very dim.

I'm a big fan of this place, and have eaten here probably 20 times this year. My girlfriend lives in the area and its a great choice since I'm trying to watch the calories and since both my girlfriend and I work during the weekday, we are usually too exhausted to figure out a "healthy meal" at home at night so this has hit the spot many times.

I've noticed however the last two times we have eaten there we have been the only guests, twice in a row now in the last few weeks during what I would consider the "dinner rush" for most places. I just hope they will continue to stay in business and I encourage y'all on the suburban northwest side to support these guys.

Hopefully they are doing ok at lunch. Either way the product is good enough to land the owners in a more visible spot if they don't make it long term there
