Jimmy's Egg already failed in Norman once not far from that location...

They lost their lease in Norman the first time. Trust me on this one.

CCOKC is right on that one.

Saying that the first one "failed" would be very inaccurate... the same goes for Sunnyside Up... if it wasn't for the Norman City Council, we might still have them here instead of in Moore!

Jimmy's Egg is the local version of Denny's, they are awesome. They've been recruited to do national franchises but have declined. Grand House is great dimsum/chinese food, the original is in the Asian district in OKC.

Except Jimmy's Egg has good food and is a destination place. Denny's is a place to go eat when nothing else is open

Not to mention that Jimmy's Egg is breakfast/lunch only.

    Not really..

  13. Default Jimmy's Egg

Hasn't been too long since we got one on the West side at the old Denny's location. Drove down Alameda today and they are going to be adding another location in the old Blockbuster space next to Little Caesars and the Custard Factory. It's not much, and not everyone cares for them, but at least it is another place to eat on the East side.

I noticed them tearing out the old BBusters after I had been camped out with a Micky D's soda the other morning. I was just reading and sipping while waiting on someone to finish a nearby appointment. Didn't know it was going to be a Jimmy's Egg. Will be nice to have a new morning camp option when I am over that way.

A major expansion is in the works.

    http://m.newsok.com/article/5510138

Jimmy's Egg has signed six new franchise agreements to double the size of the Oklahoma-based restaurant chain and expand into three new states.

Edmond-based Jimmy's Egg Franchise Systems said Monday that it had signed six new area development agreements to open 52 restaurants in Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Nebraska and Iowa.

Gross. As in, gag me with a greasy spoon gross. I saw the bag where they get their "sausage" crumbles. If the right person speaks up they'll end up calling it "pork topping" like Pizza Hut.

I feel like this was split off from another thread...Or there's a link/pic that's meow missing.

    *shrugs*

I'll roll with it and get back on topic. I've not eaten at a Jimmy's Egg in years. I hate the toast. It would be AMAZEBALLS if they didn't overcook and dry it out every time. Also their biscuits and gravy are terrible.

Large Chain Jimmy's Egg Outlet Shoppes.

Anyone know what is going on with Jimmy's egg and why they still haven't opened. I work near by and the rumor was wiring issues. They were supposed be open Mid March. It's now Mid April. Thats a big Oops if true.

Stopped in there Sunday 7-9-17 at 11am and it was pretty dead. Heard one of the services tell the table next to me that yeah they are not a very busy store. I drive by everyday around 11 and it never looks busy. Might be a bad Location?

They have expanded rapidly and I suspect a bit too much so.

Plus, they have lots more breakfast competition these days.
