somehow I'm on their email list - must be getting closer...
Coming this fall to Midtown OKC
FASSLER HALL & DUST BOWL OKC
It's coming, and we can hardly wait! But before we can open, we need a roster of awesome employees. Interested? Head to McNellie's OKC at 1100 Classen Drive, and fill out an application. Just note on your form which location you are applying for. We can't wait to meet you!
Fall will likely not happen. What is the holdup on this project? When is the week of opening, Mr. Nelson?
Tulsa.
Is that a demand? You're demanding an answer?
From Fitzsimmons Archtiects FB page:
Most of these are from Dust Bowl. Note the veined mirrors, ala R&J Lounge and Supper Club (and half the dining rooms from the 1970's):
And these are from Fassler Hall:
Please, please tell me interior design isn't going back to wood paneling and veined mirror tiles. That may be one of the ugliest periods in interior design of all time. I see this happening in other cities in a few places, but not as a trend. This is like having escargot as a main course...great as an appetizer but not meant to be the entree.
I have noticed a for lease sign on the building when I drive by. so is there additional space downstairs on the east for another tennant?
I'm not sure how I missed that. Any idea what is going to go in there?
I guess I missed that as well. I had convinced myself that the west side was Dust bowl and the east side was Fassler Hall. thanks for the clarification
Is this still on track to be opened before the end of the year? To me it still seems like they have a ways to go.
The finished product probably will look different but right now it looks like a building but underneath a freeway overpass.
