It would make sense for a car to be stationed in most major cities. With the many thousands of miles of streets and highway that OKC offers, I'll bet it is dificult to drive the whole city in a year, even with full time effort.
Ok, that made me chuckle, as odd thoughts of mine sometimes do.

I was behind or next to one of them a few days ago. For about a mile.
I put my horse mask on and passed it towards the end of our time together. Hopefully it gets immortalized on the internets.
FWIW There are image updates in OKC as recent as this June.

For whatever reason, Street View in OKC is updated much more regularly than where I live.
Google also updates the aerials in Oklahoma pretty frequently as well.

Somebody told me about a year ago that the street view cars don't "return" to OKC, they are always in OKC and surrounding areas. These cars are actually based here and Google has several employees here. Maybe somebody else can give a little more information?
