Phillips 66 at SW 104th & May

Noticed that all the signage is down from this station, any ideas what's going on?

We noticed it too. Been amazed at how many vehicles have pulled in, apparently not noticing that the store is closed. They took out the pumps yesterday. Sign is now posted for sale or lease. Also noticed the Circle K/Conoco/Phillips 66 at SW 119th & S. Western is closed as well. Wondered if it was leased/franchised? by the same folks. Just hate to see empty gas stations sitting on the corners!

It's crazy with all the new traffic that corner is fixing to experience.

I noticed they removed the underground gas tanks, anyone know what is going on with this corner?

I drove by today on my way to work and the pumps and awning above them are gone. This intersection is always busy, not sure why this place wasn't doing enough business to have to close and be demolished, unless it is in for a full upgrade of some sort.

This is the same intersection where the new apartment complex is going in, and I understood part of the development plan for that corner included or includes a bank. I have absolutely zero knowledge of the situation, but it wouldn't surprise me if that gas station were going to get plowed and a small branch bank go right in on that spot.

The conoco on SW 119th and Western has open and closed several times in the last few years rather mysteriously, and I think it is entirely unrelated to the 104th and May location.
