It's starting to make a lot more sense visually. Never doubted for an instant!
Thanks 5Alive!
That outdoor area on the 2nd level for Fassler Hall -- with a large covered patio -- is going to offer some nice skyline views and be quite the happening place. Will bring all kinds of energy to the street.
Between this and Bleu Garten (both should open this fall) we will have a great pull and link between Auto Alley and Midtown; one of those key links between districts Sid mentioned in another thread.
The area between is likely fill pretty rapidly and with lots of continued in fill.
Really, all the bigger pieces are in place or in case of the streetcar, will soon be.

That patio is going to be so awesome.
As this is starting to come together, let's take a closer look at Fassler Hall.
First of all, it will be *huge* with about 2/3rd of the seating outdoors and the indoor space opening to it with six big overhead doors. There will also be an outdoor fireplace and a movable band stand which will me moved out into the outdoor beer garden on nice days.
You can see a line of higher counters on the south exposure which should offer great skyline views. There are stairs that connect Fassler with the Dust Bowl Lounge directly below.
(Yellow = indoors; pink = covered outdoors; blue = uncovered outdoors):
This is supposed to be open late this year right? Do we know if they will have outdoor heaters?
Edit: Never mind, I see the fireplace.
WOW !
FH/DB will certainly be the place to be once it opens.
Yep, it really is huge. I briefly wandered by tonight and was really surprised at the scale of it.
Have been told to expect these to open closer to jan
That floor chart looks much much better than what I saw in Tulsa. I had just come from Europe last September and traveled up to Tulsa to run an errand and was super disappointed with it. If they can figure out the beer and food and do it better than they've got in Tulsa, this could definitely make the cut for a semi-authentic Biergarten experience.
Drove by last night and it looks like they have glass going up on the southside. By the way, any idea what is going on south of this? There is a large fence set up. I assume it is just storage for the equipment for the Fassler Hall/Dust Bowl, but wanted to be sure.
From cath22 -- moving fast now:
When this is done it is going to be very cool! Currently it looks like a parking garage..
This is another situation where Tulsa is going to get even more upset at upset because the OKC location of a Tulsa original bar is cooler..
I completely agree, Nick! I can't to see people glaring over the second floor. I constantly tell all of my Tulsa buddies what it happening in OKC, and they don't understand yet. Soon they will understand
Also, what is Elliot Nelson's next venture in OKC, Pete? I hope (know) that it's just beginnging...
He has Dilly Deli too, and I think one or two more now (I can't keep up).
