56 of 235 precincts reporting; Mick about 64%, Shadid 35%
Looks like Mick will be easily re-elected.
DefeatED.
Just under 25% of precincts reporting:
Cornett at 7,406 (63.7%)
Shadid at 4,017 (34.5%)
As an aside, subtracting early/absentee voting, Cornett is running 4,962 to 3,062, about 62%-38% off the cuff.
Sorry for the double-post, but just got a big jump in precincts:
Now over 31% reporting (74 of 235):
Cornett 9,239 (63.5%)
Shadid 5,052 (34.7%)
HumiliatED.
Looks like those percentages are holding regardless of total numbers.
Looking good.
Coming in hot and heavy now. Has to be getting close to "call" I would think;
100 of 235 precincts - about 43%
Cornett - 11,666 63.2%
Shadid - 6,457 35.0%
Now almost exact half the precincts in: Cornett 63%, Shadid 35%.
50% of precincts in, no real change in percentages.
Figure someone in the media will be calling this eventually. Shadid would have to capture better than 65-35 of the uncounted vote to even make it close.
From Gazette twitter. 64% of precincts reporting. Cornett 58.9% and Shadid 39.5%.

One thing that's kinda encouraging - looks like we stand to hit 40-45K in total turnout this time around (just a rough guess)
123 of 235 - Cornett 63% Shadid 35%
142 of 235
Cornett 18,121 64%
Shadid 9,724 34%
That last jump was a pretty good chunk for Cornett, bumped his margin by almost a full point.
142 of 235 Precincts Completely Reporting
TOTAL
ED SHADID 9,724 34.4%
PHIL HUGHES 222 0.8%
JOE SARGE NELSON 238 0.8%
MICK CORNETT 18,121 64.0%
Total 28,305
That's why I posted. I was confused on their numbers.

Will be nice just to get on with things once this is all formally wrapped up tomorrow.
Hopefully Ed can mend some fences. Will be very interesting next time he's up for election.
Just wonder what his constituents think.
I bet he would be re-elected if he chooses to run again.
Unless some very strong Shadid precincts report I think its safe to say its over for Ed.
Ed is clearly the antichrist.
