Honestly I still don't know if the Tacoma was heavy enough to keep the boat from swaying a bunch when it's windy.
That's what I thought you meant but wasn't sure.

    2011 Land Rover DC100 Concept

. . . also the name Landy is being considered.

Not really much info about the truck that I've seen yet, but it looks alright. Kind of reminds me of the Bronco Concept and an FJ Cruiser combined.

    Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept

    Engine: 4 Cylinder/Turbo W/ 6-Speed manual (210HP)
    Drivetrain: FWD

The Dune Concept sits two inches higher off the ground than the traditional Beetle, and it’s both longer and wider than the Beetle R-Line on which it’s based. However, it’s powered by the same 210-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine and six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It comes only as a front-wheel-drive model, with a multi-link rear suspension and the XDS electronic differential lock, intended for increased traction on less stable surfaces.

In keeping with the all-terrain theme, the Dune Concept wears a chrome-plated underbody skid plate, larger air intake, and the Dune logo. The skis are mounted to the car through a trick spoiler, which swivels to all storage within the actual wing. You’ll also find VW’s LED daytime running lights and xenon headlamps, as well as LED fog lamps gracing the face of the concept car.

Here something pretty cool for anyone who is interested in classic cars. I love classics and this would be an awesome truck to own, however I wouldn't pay that price unless I had money to just blow.

Gene Simmons' ‘Snakebit’ 1956 Ford F100

    Sells for $450,000!

The final hammer price was $450,000, with all proceeds set to go to the Children's Hospital of Saskatchewan. Some may scoff at the final sale prices of such vehicles, but when you consider where the money is going... well, you should reconsider your scoffing. A worthwhile charity gets many hundreds of thousands of dollars, and some wealthy gent or lady gets a classic truck that hides 550-horsepower 5.4-liter Shelby V-8 engine under its hood.

Does anyone want to buy this for me?

It's called the Ford RaptorTRAX, and it's set to star in an upcoming video set to be released over the 2014-2015 winter. Under the hood sits a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine while the interior boasts four Recaro seats and a full roll cage. Outside, it's clear that Mattracks went ahead and helped out on this project.

    Honda S660 Concept

    Engine: 3-cylinder, 660cc Gas Engine
    Power: 64HP
    Transmission: 7-Speed CVT(Continuously variable transmission) W/Paddle Shift

The engine is xpected to produce 64hp at 6000rpm and 77 lb-ft at 2600rpm, as it does in the N-One, a Japan-only offering. However, one source close to Honda says that the company may settle on -- for export markets including the United States, a turbocharged 1.0 liter unit which should produce upwards of 100hp. And in a minicar that tips the scales between 1875 pounds and 2000 pounds, such horsepower would give the S660 some serious attitude where it counts.

I've been driving tundra's since 2003. I've always wanted to buy a Tacoma ever since the tundras became so much bigger the only thing that holds me back is the price and the gas mileage is terrible for a small truck. I just purchased a 14 tundra TSS package and it is sweet best one so far.

Why can't they create a Volkswagon resembling a Batmobile, that is fuel efficient, with a cellphone interface, that turns it into a pile of recycled trash, by the side of the road, as soon as the driver chooses to telephone rather than operate a motor vehicle?

After all . . . some people say we put a man on the moon . . .

(oh. wait: I think They did a Fast and Furious test version of that out on the West Coast that didn't play so well. Disguised as a Porsche? too soon?)

I wanted a Tacoma, I tried to make a Tacoma work. I worked the wife over for months trying to convince her that I didn't need yet another (I've had at least one full size GM truck in my driveway for more than 20 years) giant pickup.

But putting two giant car seats (one rear-facing) in there sold me on getting a Tundra instead. The biggest rear-facing child seat is till at least 6 inches away from the front seat; The front seat that's been adjusted for a 6' tall man to be comfortably seated.

So for now, giant crew cab it is. But my next truck...My kiddos should be out of the giant seats and in at least boosters. I can move to a smaller truck.

I have one question. Who is going to be able to afford all the cars? I was at the local dealership the other day and most cars are priced way above the average income in the US. Are we going to 10 year car loans?

Oh, come on JTF, you always have more than one question.

My guess would be the same way you bought your Fiat 500L I'm guessing. I wouldn't mind taking out a loan, however I don't have to do that. If and I mean IF I get to where I want to be in life, I'll just pay cash for whatever I want.

Cars, highways, streetcars, urban housing, suburban housing; it all cost money my friend, and you'll pay for it however you pay for it.

Well they're already up to six years on new loans if prices keep going higher it wouldn't surprise me.

Ha! Since when did that matter? I know people with half my income with new Corvettes. People are dumb and will go carpoor in a heartbeat if that's what tickles their fancy. That's why you see a sixty thousand dollar Cadillac sitting in front of a fifty thousand dollar house.
