Well the last two Australian "imports" from Holden have been fantastic cars. The Pontiac G8 and the 2004-2006 GTO (say what you will about their looks, but they're great cars and they're aging nicely) were pretty good goodbyes from a Pontiac that had lost its way a couple of decades ago. I won't be shocked if the SS is even better than those two. From the looks of that interior, it should be.
Still not sold on the new Mustang's looks, but there's no denying that they're going to be very fast and handle well. I'm just glad that it appears they're done with retro. I didn't care that crap when they (and MOPAR and GM to some extent) started it, and I'm getting more tired of it with every passing year. I mean look...We were SUPPOSED TO HAVE FLYING CARS 13 YEARS AGO, but all we get are cars that are purposefully built to look like 40 year old memories? SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. Give me space-shippy and move on to what's next. Look forward. Don't give me things that look like what my dad had in 1972. Unless it's that '70 Chevelle SS. I'd take that plz.
/is aware he's in the minority here.
