Don't they usually start the day after Thanksgiving? In markets where there will be only one station doing Christmas music, there's no reason to race to be the first to do it.

Pretty sure last year they started up before TG so probably next Monday. If not by then, it will be Friday.

They have been waiting until Friday after Thanksgiving to start it. Usually between 12am and 5am.

It wouldn't surprise me if they flipped early because of the winter storm. They were probably getting a lot of requests for it.

Why not start early? Hearing the Christmas Music on KMGL has always put me in a good mood. 2013 has been a long drawn out year that needs to be forgotten on so many levels.

Actually, KXY and Magic flipped to at the exact same time 3 days before Thanksgiving last year.
