Pub W opens July 23 at 11am.
Nothin like a beer on a Tuesday morning at 11 AM.
Any information about this Pub W other than when it opens?

still trying to figure out what their hours will be, because the "Our Story" section says 11am-2am daily, but the top of the web page says Mon-Thurs 10am-11pm, Fri-Sat 10am-11pm, and Sun 10pm-11pm. I sure hope they are open more than just 1 hour on sundays
I believe they are open until 2am. I think the top of the webpage is an error.
WichitaSooner: Their website is pubwnorman.com.
I think you missed the point of the question. The information on the website can't all be correct. It says 11:00 p.m. on the top banner, but also says 2:00 a.m. in the description in the "Our Story" section. It also says they are open from 10:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, which is obviously a typo.
I wonder if the kitchen stops serving at 11:00, but the bar stays open until 2:00? In any event, we'll know soon enough.
I checked this place out with the wife on Tuesday evening (opening night.) I think it's pretty sweet. It's no doubt a sports pub with TVs everywhere, but the food is a bit more unique than your average BWW and they have lots of nice beer including local brews which automatically gains points with me. We tried the buffalo shrimp, pot roast and pretzel burger and it was all excellent. Also I like the interior - feels cozy but also has a nice vertical space.
I feel like a long time ago there was a place called Champions that used to be in the same space. I hope this one stays though!
edit: I totally forgot to ask about the closing time. :P
the website has been updated to say 11AM - 2AM everyday. so there is our answer on the hours
If you know any servers or cooks, they still had a monster size hiring sign out front when I drove by today
Went last night and had a good time. Just tried the sweet potato fries off their Late Nite menu which were a little burnt but still pretty decent. $2 domestics on Thursdays, too. I assume it will do well.
I went this past week. and i like the place. my biggest complaint is this new idea of not posting prices for drinks on the menu. Not because i can't afford them, but because i can't budget while drinking, and so i always end up drinking less, than i normally would on a night out, because i don't really know how much i have spent. I have no issues with buying a $25 bottle of beer (i do so quite often at McNellies), but i need to know the price before i buy it
This place is good. Ive eaten here three times now and Ive liked all the food Ive tried. They have these cheese fries with gravy, pot roast, and an egg on top, pretty good. They have fresh oysters on fridays, and really good fried chicken on sundays. Theres an enclosed smoking area upstairs with a small bar and a pool table. A cool glass keg room holding the beer, and they have something like 24 beers on tap. Looks promising!
