Native Oklahoman. Born in OKC in '85, moved to Norman to attend OU and am now back in OKC. Mom was born in Ardmore and Dad in OKC. My great grandparents met each other on the back of a covered wagon in the land run. I am an Oklahoman through and through.

Born at Stillwater, grew up mostly in Elk City but moved to SoCal in 1942 and stayed until 1946 when family returned to Oklahoma. Lived in Muskogee for a few months but in August 46 came back to OKC and have lived here ever since except for college years at Norman, army time at Fort Sill and Korea, and two more years in SoCal (59-62). Father was civil service -- shelterbelt program in the 30s, Emergency Rubber Project during WW2, and VA training officer afterwards...

My parents were both native OKCers, but I was born in Ft Riley KS due to my dad's military service. When he got out we moved to Tulsa, 57-61; OKC 61-88, then I got the hell outta there to Arlington TX, 88-present.

My parents are from Flint, MI and Chicago, IL, but I'm an Okie through and through. Lived in Tahlequah for 6 years, Tulsa for 12 years, Norman for 5, Edmond for 1, Norman for 4 more, and midtown OKC for the last year. I've loved every place I've lived. After 30 years in OK I'm moving to Wichita for a job next week, but I will be back regularly to visit family and go to OU football/Thunder games. Hopefully, I'll be back to live permanently at some point.

Born and rasied in Fort Wayne, IN. Moved from Indianapolis, IN in 2006, to Oklahoma City, Ok for a management position. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay thus far and very excited about the growth that has transpired over the past 4.5 years of my residency here in OKC. I see OKC in a similar growth pattern as Indy but only 10 years behind the growth curve. However, the metro is making significant strides in narrowing this growth disparity of its peer cities.

I was born in St. Anthony's in 1959. Except for two misguided years in Little Rock, I have lived in Oklahoma all of my life. Both of my parents and all four of my grandparents were also born in Oklahoma and lived in Oklahoma all of their lives. We are true Okies.
