Why do people find this so creepy? I don't understand them. You can see the exact same thing in your car, except it's on the web.

I've actually been waiting a long time for this for Oklahoma City. I also can't wait until Microsoft Maps Live introduces Oklahoma City 3D maps. Ft. Worth and Dallas is pretty amazing in 3D: maps.live.com

I haven't seen it yet but is there any way we can petition them to take the pics when the grass is not brown (trees have not yet shed)?

I mean, OKC is actually pretty beautiful most of the year save the middle of summer and all of winter (unless it snows) - yet it seems as though these are the ONLY times Google/Microsoft/NASA takes pics of OKC.

Yet, I see other cities get pics during spring/fall settings (with green grass/trees). What's up with this? Why are they ASSISTING in perpetuating a 'false' image that OKC is brown and has no green?

    WOW!

I put in my mom's address and saw my brother's car parked by the curb. The pix must be taken within the last year or two.

I tried looking at mine, but it does not seem to have any pictures available from the actual inside of the apt complex.

One area of South OKC was taken sometime between October 20 and November 20 of last year, but I canna narrow it further than that.

They haven't done my neighborhood, and it's not gated.

There are several parts of OKC where the images were taken during the green seasons. Can't tell if it was spring or summer.
    Continue the Renaissance!!!

It was announced a few days ago that Google was here in Seattle just now taking pics for Seattle's streetview.

Just thought I'd rub that in (OKC [and even Tulsa] got theirs first).. ...

Great. So Seattle will be all green and lush with leaves on the trees in streetview while OKC is brown, leafless and dead.

Well, with all of the rain they get, Seattle is almost always all green and lush with leaves on the trees in streetview.

it gets somewhat brown here in the winter - like in OKC. The tallgrass turns yellow/brown, and we have quite a bit and even a few deciduous trees - like alder, birch, and such. But, it is true that there is a very much larger proportion of evergreen trees which make it pretty green yearround.

I just thought I'd mention that - and it is INTERESTING that Google picked now for Seattle and the Winter for OKC. ....

when i look at my house... there's a bang of people walking down my street.

    probably crackheads.

when i checked at my parent's house... my dad is standing in the front yard looking at the camera. and it was obviously sometime around christmas, due to the fact that mary, joseph and baby jesus were in the front yard.

And they call that "paranoia." Do you honestly think Google is behind some conspiracy to paint Seattle in the better light or are you just joking around? I sincerely hope it is the latter.

Start out at Robinson and Park Ave downtown. Go west on Park ave and as you get closer to the library, it will all of a sudden turn from winter to Spring!!!

Exactly what I was going to say...dang people, since when are we in a war with Seattle? You do realize we got the team, right?

There are places all over when you go down the street on the street views, there are time it's morning, then evening, and some times on the other side of the street.

Not sure if you made the statement on purpose or not but, Steve Ballmer is the CEO of Microsoft which is HQed in Seattle and the iPhone is an Apple product HQed in Cupertino, Ca. not Seattle. Just thought I'd throw a little correction out there.

I wouldn’t sweat factual errors like that. Google isn’t based in Seattle either, it’s in Menlo Park, CA almost a thousand miles from Seattle.

no... no error, and Disney Land is HQed in Oklahoma City. =]
