We will give the spot to AJ. He's probable better at this point in his career with a much brighter future than Dennis, and a lot longer shelf life... definitely cheaper, too.

    also not a race-baiting moron

“It’s like modern slavery,” Schröder said. “It’s modern slavery at the end of the day. Everybody can decide where you’re going, even if you have a contract.

You read one comment by him and now you've discounted everything he did for OKC while here and you've shoved him in your little partisan box of enemies.

^^^^ And remember Schroder is German. Born and raised by a German father and Gambian mother. He does not have the same lifelong sensitivity to the slavery issue as US born and raised people do.

Another point is something that I mention often-a Collective Bargaining Agreement usually involves trading legal rights and freedoms for something of value (usually money). An NBA player gives up his right to work wherever he wants in exchange for the chance at life changing sums of money for a defined period.

You accused him of “race-baiting,” which is a very predictably partisan talking point.

Dennis is German, great news to hear. I grew up with a black German; we were neighborhood friends. Strange occurrence one day we were playing, he had all these model planes (lots of German models), his prized German Blitzkrieg model plane, I took a small rock and pretended to drop a bomb on his Blitzkrieg model and it tore a hole in the wing. That wasn't the end of our friendship, his mother told me she didn't want to ever see my black a$$ in her house again. My older brother laughed and said, 'How did you know your bottom was black. (Hell, I've never seen my bottom--at least not in person) LOL.

My friend Erick, we grew up frequenting Washington Park (OKC) swimming in the old large pool--continued playing together for years. They provided free swimming in the morning when they emptied the salt rock-type chlorination into the pool. The free morning swimmers provided the agitation to mix the chlorine into the pool. That water made your skin so ashy--hot sunny day, especially when you got ready to leave. Everybody was sharing bottles of Jergen's lotion (popular lotion at the time) or Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.

Time for the Thunder to put some distance between the Thunder and the rest of the WC.

OKC's NBA Legends towers 'Holmgren and Hartenstein' United.

Aaron Wiggins career high night vs Kings | February 1, 2025

    NBA things happening.

OKC stomping out the #2 West team while missing two starters. Wiggins has arrived. The 41 point game has woken something inside. Chet is back. OKC is a certified buzzsaw now.

Anthony Davis played one of his best performances ever and then left the game with injury and is scheduled to be out 2-3 weeks. Lucky for Dallas, the ASB will be one of those weeks. But they have a real chance to miss the playoffs. The Luka trade just got even more ridiculous.

Laramie, thank you for your coverage of the Thunder on here. Living in Denver all l see is coverage of the Nuggets (Jokic And Co. ARE a pleasure to watch) but rarely a word that they are games behind OKC. It's great to be able to see your game review links. I still have to root for the Thunder. Thanks again!

Some reports expect AD to be out up to 6 weeks, and possibly more if it is a sports hernia. I think I read in article on Yahoo sports.

    You hate to see it….

(I mean unironically you really do hate to see it for AD but Mavs fans suck).

Very bad news for Dallas but very good news for OKC as they could very well miss the playoffs entirely now.

Mavs went from a legit chance to run it back to the finals & IMO posed by far the greatest risk of knocking us out again with a healthy Luka to a terrible trade straight up with another big who would have surely given us problems as well and now he's out extended period. Talk about tanking your team. Maybe we should hang a banner for Nico if we win it all.

Well if you want to go to a Thunder game tonight versus New Orleans would be the night tickets are unbelievably cheap. Best team in the NBA best team this city ever had and people still can't give away tickets. Some of these prices are unbelievably cheap for great seats

It could be Super Bowl hangover for a lot of people maybe, and New Orleans being dead last in the west doesn’t sell.
    Zion will play though.

Playing a bad team the Monday after the Super Bowl. Not surprising.

My seats aren’t great but I’ve been able to see several that I haven’t been able to make it to. Weekends and good teams for significantly more than my purchase price. Weekday games and games against bad teams have been hard to sell for the $11 minimum price that I can set on the ticket exchange app but I’ve been able to sell most of the ones I’ve had to sit out.

I am going to the game tonight. Don't care if it against the worst team in the west. I don't get a chance to go to very many games so any game I go to is a fun time for me. I hope I get to see Chet play a little.

Thunder Re: Oklahoma City Thunder 2024-25 Season

Coach Mark Daigneault is taking time to wean Chet back into the line up. He knew the Grizzlies game in Memphis would be a physical challenge, so he sat Holmgren out. Meanwhile the reps and playing time for Aaron Wiggins is paying big dividends.

And it was the 2nd night of a back to back. I was kind of surprised he played 22 minutes against Toronto his first game back. I think I heard Joe and Wallace might be out tonight.
