Thread: Basil

  1. Default Re: Basil

Im still sad that they left MWC. All that's there is Arkrpolis so all you can get is deep fried fatty crap. LaGreek is only open for Tinker lunch so its not any help. I ended up at Zorbas this weekend out of proximity to the place, and forgot how underwhelming it is. I really want some good mediterranean back in my area...wahhhhh.

The next closets place to me is just south of 240 on Western and it's prices dont match the food.

Looks like its a drive to 19th in Moore for me

If you are referring to the place on the east side of the road in the strip center...it looked closed the last several times I have driven by.

that reminds me... i was getting donuts in that strip center this past saturday morning and noticed new signage in that spot for what (i think) is going to be a taqueria... can't remember the name, though.

really miss med grill... i think they had the best gyros in the metro outside of greek house in norman.

If you're in the area again, go a little further south to Mediterranean Imports and Deli. Especially on a Friday because the hot special is their salmon. It's absolutely incredible and one of my favorite dishes in the city. I've never been disappointed there.

Also one of the best places to build out a charcuterie board.

This renovation turned out very nicely, IMO. Building got a new paint job and some nice exterior lightning.
