Plans show the Walmart will be the centerpiece of the massive Deercrest Marketplace on the northeast corner of Rockwell and Memorial Road.
The center is being developed by BD Eddie Enterprises and encompasses nearly 300 acres, 150 of which will be commercial / retail.
Walmart continues to expand in Central Oklahoma even as competition increases from new grocers and deep discount chains.
This particular location is in the booming area served by Deer Creek schools. The ever expanding Paycom campus is to the west.
A typical Walmart Supercenter is approximately 185,000 square feet.
The SW 104th Street location is set to open in the next few months.
