Did anyone see them on the Tonight Show 5/16?
On the drum where the logo is they had an OU on the O of KOL with the number 23 under the K. No doubt a tribute to Wayman Tisdale. That was very cool.

Yes, I saw that. It really surprised me because I forgot there was some Oklahoma ties with that band. Made me tear up a little.
I think two of the members are from OKC.
my friend is cousins with a member of them.... but that gave me chills seeing that, really good tribute
Very cool even though I'm pi**ed off as I thought you were going to say they were coming to town
They are playing at the ACL fest in Austin in October.
Would love to go but have a 6 month old at home...Wifey would just laugh if I mentioned hitting a festival this year
Hopefully they will take the short drive to Cain's after the ACL...That I can probably trade for a Coach
I found this while doing an in depth search on their ties to Oklahoma. I found #10 on the list particularly funny. He must get really drunk before conference play starts....

...and he can probably hold his liquor by the time it's all said and done!
I'm going to see them in LONDON at the O2 on June 15...!
Even better if they have OU/Oklahoma ties
I think a couple of the bands members briefly lived in OK and still have family here. They mentioned their Oklahoma family during their concert in bricktown 6 months ago. I myself look forward to seeing them at ACL, but London does sound like a great place to see them, Kings of Leon are huge in Europe.
2 were born in OKC
They are all brothers. You can see them around town when they aren't out on tour. I officially met them hanging out at one of the Thunder Cycles Saturday run events. Nice guys. Funny!
3 are brothers the other is a cousin
