SW 134th & S. May Ave.--what is being built?

Saw today that the land on the SE corner of SW 134th & S. May Ave., adjoining Cascata addition, is being prepped for some sort of development--perhaps commercial? Anyone know what is going in there?

I couldn't find anything in OKC building permits relating to that area.

Found out the answer: it will be a gated residential community associated with Cascata.

Neighborhoods? No. Subdivisions maybe. I couldn't tell you the names of 1/3 of the people that live on my street. That's not a neighborhood.

What's keeping you from meeting them?

I pull my car out of my wrap-around drive, I drive down the street and I'm gone.

On the way home, I pull in to my wrap around drive and disappear behind my house.

They pull in, drive in to their garage and close their door.

I have no reason to interact with them, no opportunities to interact. They have no reason to interact with me, and they have no opportunities to interact with me.

This is common with most subdivisions.

I mean that's your choosing. My neighbors came over about a week after I moved in and introduced themselves. I talk with a few of them, the close ones anyways, a couple of times a week. Half of the reason I like where I am is because I have some pretty solid neighbors.
