^Behind a paywall with no reader option, but if you use the wayback internet machine you can pick the publish date last summer to read.

So they’re replacing a few towers, obviously the old one on UCO campus and from what I understand the danforth soccer fields one, but the newly constructed one on 33rd and Broadway is making me ask if the older one at that intersection will be replaced/torn down after?

If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated!

Speaking of water towers, Edmond bought a few lots in the old Areo Estates just east of Douglas on Sorghum Mill, the plan is to build a water tower and drill a well field. Edmond also just bought around 13 ac east of Redbud elementary on Coffee Creek and Douglas for an electrical substation, new fire station and possibly another water tower.

If you go to the City of Edmond website, there is a long term water plan that you can look at.
