Many cities on google earth are now in 3D including Ft. Worth, and Dallas. Here's a screen shot of NYC. All it takes is a someone with graphic skills to put the buildings together. Wouldn't it be neat to see OKC in 3D on Google earth?

Oh no, I just realized Tulsa has us beat. I think it would be nice to have OKC fixed up, since someone out of the area may happen to stumble over OKC on the program. Maybe we can give people a glance at our skyline.

I have to say that rendering of downtown Tulsa is really awful---hard to recognize any of the beautiful architecture that distinguishes their skyline. So maybe they don't have us beat---surely we can do better than that!
Are these 3-D images user submitted to Google?? How does that part of the software work?
Another new 3d mapping service is maps.live.com from microsoft. here's Ft. Worth:
Check out this article on it: they do say "all major u.s. cities." so i'm guessing OKC is not to far off.
