SUBJECT: Citizen Alert - Police Seek Suspects in Armed Carjacking
Oklahoma City Police are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred in the parking lot of a motel at 2801 N.W. 39th St. Last night around 10:30 p.m., a female was sitting in her '91 Acura Legend which was backed into a parking space. Her driver's side door was open.
Three black males pulled up in a Camry and blocked her in by stopping directly in front of her. Two suspects got out, and one pointed a weapon at the woman. She described it as appearing to be a compact assault rifle.
They ordered her out of the car and attempted to take her purse. The woman's husband responded to her yelling, and the armed suspect pointed his weapon at the husband as well.
Two of the suspects got into the victim's vehicle and drove off with the third suspect leaving in the suspect vehicle. The victim's stolen vehicle is a 1991 Acura Legend, 2 door, silver, with Oklahoma license plate of 324XAA. The vehicle had a large sticker in the back window with a picture of a pit bull and "TEAMBULLY.COM" - but suspects might remove this.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a silver Camry with 4 doors. The suspects are described as three black males. The two that got out and confronted the victim were around 20 years old. As of this time, both vehicles are still outstanding. Anyone who may have information on this crime or the whereabouts of either vehicle is encouraged to call police.
