Hey Steve. So is there/has been an official ground breaking with the gold shovels? I see the equipment but wondered if there is a ceremony.

Just went to the ceremony. So apparently they're planting a tree? I don't quite understand the thing about moving the evergreen to the top of the tower.

Tradition with commercial building projects. It's an old European tradition. Originally they would put Christmas type trees up at the end of a project to signal a roof was completed, however in the states, commercial projects tend to put it up there until the roof is completed, signaling when construction is done. If you noticed the commercial building that is going up on Broadway Ext., I believe between Britton and Hefner, you would have noticed a pine tree atop it for many months, not sure if it is still there. It died after a few weeks, but they still kept it up there for months.
