More eastern Oklahoma than Tulsa, but figured this was the best spot for it. Seems like a really cool project; I had heard about it but didn't know it would be so big!

WOKA, short for Waters of Oklahoma and Arkansas, is located on a 30-acre site in Watts near the state line.

The park is a joint endeavor of the Grand River Dam Authority and the City of Siloam Springs, with support from the Walton Family Foundation. It features a 1,200-foot long channel with eight drop-features for kayakers, surfers and tubers.

Yeah between that one, the one they’re building in Tulsa and the one in OKC, we’re developing a cool little paddle sports community.

Is any part of that adjustable for competition purposes like the one in OKC or is just set in place as is?

It looks like it is not for a few reasons. They are trying for it to have a natural look, it is more for recreation, for such a small operation (compared to OKC's) it probably helps to have a model where the costs are mostly paid upfront and can go a few decades before eventually will need overhaul, since they were blasting into rock at the site rather than poring concrete it probably would have been more complicated/costly to make the surface an entirely flat base for the blocks.

River West Festival Park proposed to become an ampitheater

So cool how both of Oklahoma's two largest cities are hoping to build amphitheaters.

They have moved on to Broken Arrow now. However the likelihood of either happening is pretty slim.
