Thread: Wine & Palette

  1. #1

    Midtown Wine & Palette

Just saw a $32,000 building permit for ground floor space at the Packard Building, 201 NW 10th.

Wine & Palette has been around for a while, offering art classes and wine/food events at local restaurants.

Looks like this will be more of a permanent home in 2,785 square feet:

Art lessons in the Studio space. Not a restaurant but alcohol and pre-packaged food served.

Nice.. those businesses have really taken off in the metro. there are about 5 different companies doing the Wine & Palette concept currently.. kind of a money maker but not sure how long before the market is saturated or the "Fad" is over. but having a permanent place might give them an edge. I know there is one operating in Edmond that does it from a studio rather than a restaurant.

Great ti hear. Does this mean the Packard Building is now fully leased?

This is a bummer. I was hoping for a cool restaurant / bar concept. Consider this a disappointment.

  5. Midtown Wine & Palette - 10th/Robinson

The wife and I and some friends (ladies with No Boundaries Int'l) did a Wine & Palette event at Moma Roja's tonight.

Basically about 50 people coming together at different restaurants to enjoy some good company, food, wine (if you like) and paint a picture to take home.

It was a really good time. If you're looking for something fun to do as a couple or a group, I highly recommend it. No real artistic talent required.

Before we got started the lady in charge announced they have moved into their new permanent location in Midtown at NW 10th and N. Robinson Ave.

This should be a fun addition to downtown. Not really sure how long this type of business can make it (seems like a fad to me), but, regardless, if it suits your fancy its a really fun time.

Here some pics from our night....

Not a wine fancier and even my stickmen tend to look like they were the guests of honor at a pit bull bender. But I can still see the appeal this would have for some folk.
