Thread: Riverwind - Jewel?

  1. Default Riverwind - Jewel?

I absolutely cannot believe that Jewel is coming to Riverwind this week! I dont' have tickets.. boo hoo.. I would love to see her but didn't even know she was coming.

I think the Commodores are coming as well. I think that is pretty cool.

Does anyone have a website for Riverwind?

That website is designed quite well. I'll probably never darken the door of the place, or any other casino for that matter (I prefer to do my gambling in the stock market -- better odds).

If they keep marketing themselves as multipurpose entertainment venues though, they might just draw me out there.

Never to see Jewel though. Not unless the concert was free, and I was already there. I had to work at RadioShack when we hosted a 'live' Jewel concert, then replayed the damned tape for an entire month.

-- Jewel, you're just weird, your music is in many respects stranger than anything Syd Barrett ever thought of writing. Please, get braces. That is all.

You're probably going to laugh at me but I went there yesterday and it was very fun!

I played all day and came home with $180.00 more than when I came with.

I started with $20.00 and played that all day.. I never win but I was playing the electronic games Wheel of Fortune which I love... I played nickles, quarters and then a few dollar machine ( which I won $55 on -5x bar).

Now you can really laugh because I bought Hootie and the Blowfish tickets.. I used to love, love, love them years ago... so I get to see them only 6 rows away... yay!!!!!!

Hootie and the Blowfish? Now, I'm jealous.

Why are you jealous? You can still go.

There are still a few tickets available ....

But, in the event that you are being sarcastic, that's no big surprise..

Hey different strokes.. I love all types of music... and I like them. I can guarantee I'll have a wonderful time and hopefully, I'll win a few more bucks.. all in good fun.. beats sitting home night after night.

I'm not being sarcastic... when is it?

Well, most people think Hootie isn't all that cool so I'm not surprised if you are teasing me.

But, if you are serious, it is November 18th.. Call 322-6464 Saturday night.. $42 and $32 are the ticket prices.

The theatre is cool and any seat is only a few rows from the stage. .I love seeing bands up close, it's so much better than looking at them from a huge arena ( like looking at ants). The seats I have are 6 rows back! It's not listed yet so you can still get great seats if you call soon.
