This isn't breaking news, but what happened to this convenience store/gas station at the corner of Covell & Air Depot? One day, I was drawn to their 3.08 Unleaded only to find that they had been closed for who knows how long?

They had a fire a few months ago, not sure why it hasn't been reopened
A fire, wow, I had no idea!
There was a fire in the area but it did not get Covell Corner and that is not why it closed.
The owner of the property that Covell Corner sits on declared bankruptcy. The whole strip center closed down because of it. Next time you drive by look in the windows and you'll still see inventory on the shelves.
What a drag.
Does the closed strip center include the liquor store to the east? Were there other businesses?

only thing still open is the dry cleaners
Every time I drive by lately there is activity inside, with the west door sometimes open and a few cars parked. It would appear something might be opening soon.
Anybody?
It was purchased by a new owner.
Glad to know this. Thank you.
Was by there today and there were new signs on the doors saying "Coming Soon"
Yay! Hope these people know what they're doing.
Yes. I drive by often. Have the other stores (liquor) reopened as well?
There is a Subway sandwich place opening in the small strip to the east of the convenience store. Liquor store still vacant. I actually went inside the convenience store yesterday and it appears to be doing well.
The c-store has been open for months. Subway has Opening Soon signage.
