GEX on S. Eastern

In the late 60's we shopped at GEX, which might have meant Government Employees Exchange. It was on S Eastern, probably around the area where the Old Paris Flea Market is now. I was just showing a friend some Texas Ware plastic tumblers and told her we bought them at GEX. She's 20 years younger, so doesn't remember the place. Can anyone help my old brain? Thanks.

I have some fond memories of the old GEX. When i was very little, like probably 6-8 yrs old, my dad would take me with him when he went shopping there and i also remember him heading to the back of the building where there was some stairs going up and thats where the barber shop was located and while he was getting his haircut i would be munching down on some doughnuts or getting a Dr pepper in a glass bottle ( the way it should be )
