Street Collapses on SW.59

As many of you saw on the news, Lightning Creek did a number on some apartments at around SW.59 & Harvey. Not only did SW.59th street flood and have to drain in to lightning creek, but the creek went over its banks (again) and flooded many apartments. Plus, to top it all off, the street starts to collapse. I went by there this afternoon and got these pics.

Great shots. The first one looks like the "before" pictures of nearly every road in Oklahoma.

I'd say more like the 'after' pictures .. lol - With all this rain, I've never hit more potholes!

Karried, you should know that in our beloved Edmond we don't have "potholes", we have "pavement failures"!
