    Just saw online AMC now owns this. Any change other than the name and owner?,

    didn't know that and I live by it. I looked online and yeah it's now listed as AMC. I'll have to check it out and see.

    weird... so does that mean Northpark is going away from being a dollar theater? Also, wasn't it AMC WAY back in the day?

    Two things, is AMC going to re-brand and renovate? What are they clearing land for in front of the theater and the Golds?

    Noooo! I love our date night of shoguns and nothpark starplex. That theater is Lilliputian btw. Long, narrow, rooms with small a screens. The exact opposite of what modern theaters build.

    Side note...wasn't the cinema 8 near crossroads mall a starplex? It changed brands them failed. I believe it was also an AMC before the bigger better 16 cinema was build on the frontage road. Which still operates as an AMC

    Went by there today. There was a sign up for Johnnies. I'm assuming with the size of the lot that it'll be a sit down rather than an express.

    The crossroads theatre was originally a Regal. AMC bought it in 2006 or 07 or roundabouts.

    Edit: Referring to the 16 screen theatre.
