Thread: Save this historic theater in downtown Stillwater

  1. Default Save this historic theater in downtown Stillwater

If anyone with a kind heart is seeking a development opportunity, they should inquire about the Stillwater Furniture Showcase. The local furniture store has turned a historic downtown movie theater into the above mess. This could be a great historic tax credit project, but in its current state is such a travesty to see. Stillwater could do a lot better with their downtown.

Forget it. They're having so much success in selling furniture from a former movie house that they built a new extension to it. It's better as it is now, rather than left empty, and slowing deteriorating away to oblivion.

I'd be more concerned on the lack of progress in finishing in getting older buildings restored in downtown Stillwater.
