Thread: Projects from new tax/bond

    Default Projects from new tax/bond

Does anyone know if there will be a list published of road and other transportation projects to be completed with the bond/tax money from the election a few weeks ago? I seriously hope all of Reno is at the top of the list.

All they’re going to do is resurface it and find themselves in the same problem in 10 Years. These streets should be completely reconstructed with—preferably—cement or high grade asphalt. In suburban areas a landscaped median should be added with turn lanes. On all streets that are reconstructed, utility lines should be buried.

You have a smaller list, but I see quality of quantity is the way to go and cities that take the route really show why it works better. I don’t know exactly what OKC has planned for these streets, but I look at the costs that are next to the project numbers and they can’t much with so little money per project.

Good for them if they want to fix the streets that exist now instead of focusing on widening others way out in suburbia, but do it right.

This link has all props from 2017 GO Bond on the map. Found it useful earlier.

Check Google Maps for the areas listed. Hint: There's a reason they had to list some of them twice, making WB a separate project from EB.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll check it later.
