Bike To Work Day

Hi There,

In an effort to support public transit I was thinking about riding my bike and taking the bus to work on Friday for OKC Bike to Work day.

Welcome to the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments

Has anyone had any expereince using the bus bike racks? I love my bike and really don't want it to get run-over by an outdated MetroTransit bus.

Also does anyone know when we are getting the new buses?

I will be biking to work on Friday and encourage everyone else to do so!! We really need numbers to get government leaders to recognize we need forms of alternative transporation such as dedicated bike lanes, better bus and trolley routes, etc., there are many of us working on these things, but govt. leaders simply don't think there is enough demand for it.
