Candy-Corn Spill Creates Not-So-Sweet Mess

I absolutely LOVE Candy Corn!



Crews continued cleaning up the area near Southwest 59th Street and Interstate 44 Thursday morning after a tractor-trailer rolled over, spilling its load.

Boxes of candy corn scattered across I-44, blocking off the exit ramp at Southwest 59th. No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, the Broadway Extension Highway at Northwest 63rd Street is clear after two vehicles were stalled in the middle of the highway and a box truck hit one of the vehicles from behind early Thursday morning.

One person was treated at the scene.

When candy corn comes out that means Halloween is coming! I can feel it in the air. Smell it on the streets. Get the entire aura of it as I fly my broom over the metro o.
