Thunder...LOL!!! no no...I posted that for my 15 year old....he did get a job though....today is his first day at Crestwood Animal Hospital.

Oh, poor kid. He'll be traumatized by the death of those furry animals. :-( I could never work at the vet for that reason.

Yeah I tried to prep him for that scenario....but I told him I thought working at a Vet for a first job was better than fast food!

Yeah, its higher pay (depend on what vet place) and rewarding, but not without tears and heartache.

I think that is FANTASTIC about the job. Congratulations. That is a wonderful job for a high school kid. I'm involved in dog rescue and a friend of mine left a high paying executive job to go back to school to become a vet. She works for a veterinarian and the job is very interesting. If your son is interested in anything in the medical field, that should help.

And the wife is lovely.
