Kelly S of 15th (Thousand Oaks?)

I was wondering if there is word on what is going on south of the signal ridge area on Kelly south of 15th. For years there have been signs there about "Thousand Oaks" or something to that nature, which I always thought was funny since what really was on that lot was a thousand Cedars . Anyway, I noticed clearing but had not heard what is going in there.

That whole area is light industrial and office parks -- I suspect this will be more of the same.

City of Edmond has a separate permit system so properties there are much harder to research.


The land has been owned by Hundred Oaks Office Park LLC since 2004.

I think there is an apt complex under development by the name Thousand Oaks. That will be an exciting outreach opportunity for my church right across the street... Calvary Temple Church.

Is there any update on this project? Several months ago, I noticed that a street was cut ending in a cul-de-sac and that an impressive eagle statue was placed at the front. Is there any further development, or is the land still sitting empty?

Supposed to be a hotel in there somewhere, or is that going to be further to the south?

There was report of a hotel being approved for the site, but the whole project--whatever it is--seems to have stalled for years and years. Wondering if anything is happening there now. Anyone know?

I've been curious as well - they made that grand entrance with the Eagle Statue but haven't seen much else.
