Thread: Entertainment industry loss

  1. Default Entertainment industry loss

There is a saying that famous people die in threes.

Earlier this week, the world lost Peter Jennings. We just lost another.

She was a screen "siren" of the 40's, and later was world known as the matriarch of a well known series of the 70's. She played the wife (and later widow) of an oil barron and rancher in the south, and the mother of two sons. One a shrewed businessman, the other a sensitive nice guy. Plus a daughter who is a bit shady.

Her character was known as Miss Ellie. Her series, "Dallas."

Barbara Bel Geddes died this past Monday. She was 82.

    May she rest in peace.
