Thread: Any plans to connect Norman & Newcastle?

Default Any plans to connect Norman & Newcastle?

I think there is a huge development opportunity between these two cities. The problem is you can't get to Norman from Newcastle unless you go: (North) 134th E. to South on Western, (South) HWY44 to HWY 9. I think there needs to a connection between the two above routes closer to HWY 37 that would connect to Tecumseh or Indian Hills.

    What do others think?

As the riverbed presently exists, Tecumseh or Robinson would seem to be the easier potential connections. Of those two, Tecumseh already has the better improvements between 60th (Western) and I-35 and eastward to 12th (Sooner).

From a Norman perspective, I don't see any real need for another access point to the west anytime soon.

From a Newcastle perspective, yeah, I would be wanting something easier than what presently exists.
