Walmart (Danforth)

I was in there last night. They had a sign out saying hiring temp associated during their remodel. Anyone know anything about them doing any remodeling? Just wondering if they are trying to keep up with Target.

Walmart just finished a remodel on their Neighborhood Market at 2nd and Bryant. Not a lot of difference. Just some new paint and signs and moving stuff around just enough to make me stay in the store a few minutes longer to try to find things. Nothing special.

If you go by the Walmart at Memorial and Penn, you'll see the likely end result of the Danforth Wal-Mart remodel. They painted the exterior with brighter colors, and they are adding a pick-up center for on-line purchases. However, the rest of the store doesn't look much different.
