Default KOTV/Griffin moving to Brady District (and other Brady District developments)

Griffin Communications starts construction tomorrow on a new Media Center in the Brady District in downtown Tulsa. It will house Griffin’s television stations in Tulsa, KOTV and CW19. The new building will be a green building heated and cooled by geothermal wells and will use LED throughout the building and on the sets.

The media center will encompass an entire block and will be across the street from the new Brady Square Park being built by the Kaiser Foundation and is one block from three new but related art centers under construction on the other side of the park.

The AH HA! (Arts and Humanities of Tulsa Hardesty Center for the Arts)

The University of Tulsa’s (with Gilcrease Museum) Zarrow Center for Arts and Education

The third new art center is a new branch of Philbrook Museum that will house the half of the Adkin collection (the other half went to OU in Norman) and a Modern Art collection
