Thread: Miss America

  1. Default Miss America

We just keep getting positive media attention here in OK - First American Idol, now Miss America....

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A 22-year-old aspiring teacher from Oklahoma was crowned Miss America on Saturday night, the first time the storied but struggling pageant was held outside Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Jennifer Berry, a student at the University of Oklahoma, outlasted 51 other women to become Miss America 2006, earning a $30,000 college scholarship and a yearlong speaking tour in the process.

LOL I watched it up to the point where the emcee posed the question to the top five, and then moved to the bedroom to watch "other stuff" from a CD, so I missed the actual crowning, but after the date was over, I saw it on the news where she had won.

LOL Had to get the above in here somewhere. LOL

That Ms. Texas was really hottttt! I might have gone for her if she had made it to the finals. For shame! I go for a Texan over an Okie just because she has the supermodel looks.
