Better sit down restaurants would be a big plus in Moore.

Ya the Moore/Norman line reaches a little further north along I-35, the Moore Animal shelter is right about where the line is, so even Mooney’s bar is in Norman technically.

Moore is planning a new transit hub and library:

On Monday, the City of Moore held its second city council meeting of the month. They got the ball rolling on two major city projects, and ushered in the opening of the Moore Fitness Court. Here’s what you need to know:

Getting a new library is wonderful news! It is so long overdue so I am excited to see it when it is done!

YAY! I'm so glad they are building a new library! They've worked that old girl over and kept her going, but it's time for her to retire!

Three Roaring Forks LLC paid 3.7 million for 18,500 sf property at 615 S Interstate State 35 service road in Moore. It was a Hibdon Tire Center. I wonder if it’s going to be a Roaring Forks Restaurant. Currently in Scottsdale & Austin. The real estate transaction was in the Oklahoman business section.

I don't think I'd want to eat food prepared out of a former tire shop... interesting to see what goes in there.

615 is American Title....so where are we talking about? Or is that 615 the 6th st side? I'm just not aware of anything that even looks remotely like a tire shop around that area.....

I don't know of any building that used to be a Hibdon Tire shop that is not still a Hibdon tire shop in Moore. I think that is the American Title building as well.

That's the address to American Title, likely where the deal closed. It's possible a deal was made for the Hibdon's currently in operation in Moore (on the corner of 19th and Telephone) but unless Hibdon's is completely selling out their stores I don't see that happening, that location is pretty busy. Having said that, if there was a Hibdon's location that closed and is available I'd think it would be one of the locations in Norman. They used to have two locations that were really close together as a result of the Hibdon's buying out a nearby Tires Plus. I can't recall where the two locations were but they were just off I35 and Main iirc.

FYI, Hibdon's is also owned by Firestone. I am not aware of a Firestone in Moore, but there may be some overlap in coverage somewhere???

There’s a Firestone at 19th and Broadway, across from Braum’s/Taco Bell. I did hear they bought out Hibdon’s but forgot all about that.
