Sidecar is the name of the small cocktail lounge going in at 1100 N. Broadway and will be operated by the Broadway 10 Chophouse group (Provision Concepts).

Sidecar is the perfect place to order a single-malt scotch after nailing the big contract or grab a beer with friends. Our full-length glass garage door (original to the building) will open to outdoor seating and offer a great view of Automobile Alley year-round.

Just around the corner from Broadway 10, Sidecar’s well-stocked drink menu will also include wine on tap. Like wine from the barrel at a vineyard, storing our reds and whites this way means no light is exposed, for a richer taste—without the stuffiness.

Interesting. For a minute I was wondering if the Deep Fork concept of the same name that was previously at the old Patio/Chica's (now Drunken Fry) was making a comeback.

Could become the Skinny Slims of cocktail bars. If done right, small and intimate can yield a fun, friendly atmosphere.

I don't think so. I think they're going to be operated by someone who used to work for the Hal Smith group. There was an article somewhere this weekend about all the restaurants being opened independently by young people, and it included the Chophouse.

Right, Broadway 10 and Sidecar will be operated by former HSRG managers.
