Is anyone aware of any of the local breweries producing decent non-alcoholic beer?
I like the taste of cold beer but have grown to dislike how alcohol makes me feel.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I think we are very behind our European counterparts for NA beer. I have been through several ones while my wife was pregnant and I have not been too lucky. No local one one for sure.
It seems to get better with the Heineken NA and St Pauli Na. I like the O douls amber at the time and a miller version of it.

Thanks for the response.
I'd really like to go to a local taproom and have a NA option but from everything I've seen, I'm out of luck.
Local craft breweries in Colorado are beginning this, although at a pretty slow pace. I would imagine it will not be long of a wait for some places in OKC to pick up on it.
I've heard that Stonecloud may be doing one soon. They make an excellent soft seltzer.
Prairie sells cans of Athletic in their taproom
You can also order packs of Athletic Beers directly from their website and have it shipped to you since it is non-alcoholic
I guess I need to keep an eye on this thread. I have a bad feeling that very soon my Dr or one she ends up referring me to will be telling me I need to cut out alcohol.
Finally tried an Athletic Brewing beer and I was really impressed.
They have a couple of varieties at Republic and I chose the Free Wave Hazy IPA. It was pretty light so not as strong a taste as a real IPA but it had plenty of flavor and it's been so long since I've had a real beer, it was a great substitute. Being an IPA, that slight bitterness brought some real beer taste and I'll be interested to see how the others stack up.
I want to try more of their beers and may just go to a liquor store and put together a sampler.
I've stopped drinking alcohol simply because I hate the way it makes me feel. Great for like 15 minutes, then really lousy afterward and it can really disrupt my sleep. It's surprising how little I miss it because I've always been a craft beer guy.
I haven't given up drinking, but instead I've replaced some alcoholic beers with non-alcoholic ones. For example, I'll just have one Athletic beer on a Tuesday when watching a Thunder game instead of having an alcoholic one. It's helped me cut back while still enjoying the relaxation of having a beer. I've noticed more non-alcoholic options in DFW. I believe Community has several different options. I wasn't sure if OKC breweries have started producing them yet though.
Met some friends at The Patriarch a few weekends ago and they had some Athletics available, among a few others. It was nice that my partner and I could enjoy some NA beers while our friends had regular brews. Still such a great place to hang out.
All of the Athletic beers are quality products. I would like to see come local options, in the meantime Athletic is as good as it gets.
I think the biggest issue may be the distillation equipment cost to evaporate the alcohol off during fermentation.
I tried this Anthem Non-Alcoholic Golden Pils at the Pride Festival this weekend. It was served at the Sans OKC tent. I thought it was pretty good!
stone cloud also had a non-alcholic, or at least they did. Lazy circles i know was doing a non-alcoholic Hop-water, and i think several others were looking at doing that as a non-alcoholic option as well. their hop-water, and the hop-tea they did were both really good
