If I recall correctly, the Volkstube was in the basement of the Tiffany Apartments. We went there a lot but I can't remember anything about the menu. The important thing is that it's where my husband proposed 46 years ago. Can anyone help me with my remembering about the place? Thanks.

That is correct, they sold German food and beer. A friend of mine was the bartender in the early seventies. There were never many customers when I was there.
